I collect email addresses and the names of people interested in my books. These are collected via the signup form on my website. I collect no personal data apart from the email address and name. The mailing list manager (below) also records the geographic location of those who subscribe as well as the platform/operating system with which they signed up.

Your email address will only be used for me to contact you regarding my book or future books. I look at geographical location as a matter of interest only.
What legal basis do I have for processing your personal data?
I never add people to my list without their consent and only contact them regarding my books.
When do I share personal data?
I never share personal data.
Where do I store and process personal data?
My mailing list is stored with MailChimp, my mailing list manager based in the US, which operates within the rules necessitated by the European GDPR ruling.
How do I secure personal data?
My mailing list manager secures the personal data (email addresses and first names) of those who have signed up for my list.
How long do I keep your personal data for?
Data (email addresses/first names) will be retained indefinitely. Contacts and visitors are able to unsubscribe from my list themselves and unsubscribe requests are honoured immediately.

If you require access to the data I hold about you (email address/first name/geographic location) please contact me (details below). I will be happy to assist you and remove your data if required.
